Cultural institutions are increasingly clustering together. This is partly due to a desire for increased efficiency. But the main motivation is to meet the requirements of users, who want to enjoy a broad range of cultural services at a single location, or at least concentrated within a particular area.
The North Brabant Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art, both located in the city of Den Bosch, are currently deciding whether to renovate their existing accommodation or to build new facilities. Against this background, it was sensible to examine whether the two museums can be clustered at a single, central location.
